CLEARSY is involved in the Cross River Rail project for the Brisbane metro in Australia for which 4 underground stations will be equipped with platform screen doors. The new trains will run in level 2 of the ETCS standard which does not include the control of platform doors. Thus, an external safety control system is required for the opening and closing of the platform doors (PSD) in accordance with the required SIL3 safety level.
The Queensland Government Authority (Brisbane Province) selected CLEARSY and its SIL3 control command system based on wireless communication to enable the exchange of information between platform screen doors and on-board train systems.
CLEARSY will provide a trackside magnetic antenna associated with a safety computer for each of the 8 platforms as well as 150 SIL3 computers and sensors to be installed on board the trains.
CLEARSY is proud to be part of the growing metro projects in Australia.
