EDF renews its confidence in CLEARSY after 6 years of technological support for progress in safety and security in I&C (instrumentation and control).
Started in 2016, CLEARSY has successfully put into practice and transposed its multi-domain feedback for the benefit of EDF in the field of design and development of certified safety systems.
EDF DT confirms its confidence in its partner CLEARSY with a new exclusive framework contract until 2029.
This new collaboration concerns in particular the fields of classified safety components and supports (PLCs, relays, cabinets, electronic components and boards, associated auxiliary power supplies, programmed electrical components).
The systems aspects are also taken into account for the classified and unclassified control-command architectures of the installed base of PWRs and ERPs, as well as the models of new programs.
EDF and CLEARSY will be associated on the robustness studies of the hardware and software architectures according to the operating difficulties observed or following incidents that occurred on the park or in anticipation of renovation.
The contract also includes system, software or HPD (HDL Programmed Devices, including FPGA) qualification activities, in particular for PLC platforms or PECs (Programmed Electrical Components)
CLEARSY’s expertise in formal methods capitalized for more than 20 years will be one of the assets of this collaboration.
The studies and projects with a commitment to results will all be carried out in accordance with the regulations, codes or normative texts related to the control of nuclear power plants (RCC-E, IEC, EUR, IAEA standards, etc.).
