CLEARSY has just delivered a railway signaling simulator for the Corsica Single Track Centralized Control (CCVU) project, covering the French Bastia-Ajaccio and Balagne lines.
The simulator faithfully recreates the existing signaling system, reproducing the operating conditions of both safety and non-safety automatic systems, while interfacing with the actual supervision system. Future users of the Central Control Station (CCS) benefit from a training environment that reproduces every aspect of real-time traffic management.
Thanks to this tool, operators can train to respond to all kinds of situations – signal failures, service interruptions, emergencies… – in a secure, controlled context, without affecting the actual infrastructure.
By adopting this simulation solution, the CCVU Corse project optimizes safety, responsiveness and reduces training costs by minimizing dependence on physical equipment.
With this project, CLEARSY confirms its expertise in railway signalling and simulation of critical systems.
